Sides Brings 22 Years of Coaching Experience

The Indiana Fever have named Christie Sides as their new head coach, the team announced on November 4, 2022. Sides, who was selected first overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft by the Fever, brings with her a wealth of coaching experience, having spent the past 22 years coaching at various levels.

Sides will be joined on her staff by Jessie Miller and Karima Christmas-Kelly. Miller, a former WNBA All-Star, has spent the past five seasons as an assistant coach with the New York Liberty. Christmas-Kelly, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, has spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Sparks.
