A total of 16 teams will compete for the gold medal in men's football at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The tournament will kick off on July 24th, and three former Olympic champions will be among the favorites to reach the podium.

Brazil, who have won the men's football tournament five times, will be looking to reclaim their title after finishing second in Tokyo last year. Argentina, who won the gold medal in 2004 and 2008, will also be in contention, as will Spain, who won the tournament in 1992.

The 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four teams, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. The quarterfinals will be played on August 3rd and 4th, the semifinals on August 6th and 7th, and the final on August 9th.
