2021 Longhorns Football: A Roster Preview
Quarterback
Hudson Card
Card, a redshirt sophomore, is the favorite to start at quarterback for the Longhorns in 2021. He started the final three games of the 2020 season and threw for 590 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. Card is a pro-style quarterback with a strong arm and good accuracy. He is also a good runner, which gives the Longhorns a dual-threat option at quarterback.
Casey Thompson
Thompson, a redshirt sophomore, is the other quarterback on the Longhorns' roster who has starting experience. Running Back
