Walgreens Flashlight Recalled Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

What Happened?

Walgreens has issued a voluntary recall of approximately 13,000 "Eveready LED Aluminum Flashlights" due to a potential fire and burn hazard.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the flashlights can overheat and melt, posing a fire and burn risk to consumers.

Affected Products

The recalled flashlights are black and have the following characteristics:

  • Model number: EL100E
  • UPC code: 0 71949 20139 5
  • Manufacture date code: 20221028

What to Do

Consumers who have the recalled flashlights should immediately stop using them and return them to any Walgreens store for a full refund or exchange.
